This March, Shirin Neshat and Fereydoun Ave jointly exhibit separate bodies of work similarly named The Book of Kings or Shahnameh after the work by the epic poem by the 10th-century Persian poet Ferdowsi. Rebecca Anne Proctor explores the artistic and intellectual dialogue between the two artists.

Iranian sculptor Masoud Akhavanjam will exhibit two stainless steel sculptures as part of the exhibition PERSONAL STRUCTURES - open borders of the GAA Foundation, alongside the 2019 Venice Biennale.
The sculptures 'Dilemma of Man' and 'Metamorphosis' will be exhibited publicly on the Venice waterfront, Giardini Marinaressa, from 5 May to 29 November 2019.

Following his prestigious selection as Finalist with Special Mention at the Ooshot Award, JRFA Iranian artist Armin Amirian will be showing his “A”ar, Tent and Clothes photo series at the 2018 Ooshot Award Exhibition, from April 19 to April 28, 2019, at les Magasins généraux in Pantin, Grand Paris, France.
Being the first Photographic Commission Prize, the Ooshot Award wishes to reward visions of authors and artists serving brands, companies and institutions.
